The 麻豆约拍 National Orchestra of Wales and Mark Wigglesworth perform the exuberantly rhythmic overture to Wagner鈥檚 early comedy Das Liebesverbot and Elgar鈥檚 richly orchestrated First Symphony 鈥� a work itself steeped in the Germanic tradition. Exciting young British violinist Matthew Trusler joins the orchestra as soloist for Mathias鈥檚 neglected Violin Concerto 鈥� a virtuosic celebration of song and dance.
