Mozart Requiem

Principal Conductor Thomas Søndergård returns for our first concert of the year, with Mozart’s iconic Requiem and a wonderful line up of soloists, Susan Gritton, Jennifer Johnson, Timothy Robinson and Alastair Miles. Mozart’s untimely death prevented him from completing his Requiem, leaving it to his pupil Süssmayr to try to finish his master’s last work.

On what would have been his 100th birthday, we mark the occasion with mellifluous music by Henri Dutilleux.
