Doctors and the Dalek

We've a brand new location for 2009, and a fantastic line-up of entertainment. If you're coming to the Devon County Show, make sure you pop in to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Devon marquee and say hello.

ΜύThis year the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ marquee at the Devon County Show will be brimming over with things to do and see, and lots of people to meet.

Michael Chequer

Michael will present his show live

We'll be on Avenue A for the 2009 show with loads of entertainment throughout the three days.

Come along and say hello to some of your favourite Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Devon and Spotlight presenters and enjoy the live musicians performing on our showstage.

Some of our programmes will be coming live from the marquee too - so you could even end up on a show!

This year also sees the return of one of Dr Who's greatest adversaries.

Rumour has it the Daleks are not really that nasty in real life - and they'll even pose for a photograph if you ask them nicely!

Casualty actors

How do they make the injuries look so real?

Another popular attraction will be the 'blood and gore' team from TV's 'Casualty'.

Come along and find out how all those injuries we see on screen are made to look so realistic.

We've wildlife experts on hand to tell you how they get the best pictures on those animal documentaries, you can try your hand at presenting a TV weather forecast, the 'Digital Doctors' will be offering advice on the switchover and there's lots, lots more.

If you're travelling to and from the show, we'll offer an unrivalled service to keep you up to date with any traffic hold ups.

Our outside broadcast vehicle will be parked on Clyst St Mary roundabout to bring you the latest travel news from right outside the showground where we'll be able to see exactly how the roads are coping.
