Advice:The whole route is on pavement and tarmac. However, cobbles feature in one part of the walk and two short detours are required for wheelchair users and parents with buggies.
Start:This is a circular route of slightly less than two miles taking in some of the highlights of Plymouth's spectacular waterfront. The walk starts at the Mayflower Visitor Centre on The Barbican.
Points of interest:The walk takes in the Barbican where famous seafarers walked the cobbled streets and The Hoe, the spot where Sir Francis Drake is reputed to have played bowls before seeing off the Spanish Armada.
