A small shrine to the nerdiest supervillans on TV. This week:
Police Story: Jonathan mocks Andrew's knowledge of police procedure by calling him Dragnet. Around in film and TV form since 1954, Dragnet follows the exploits of Sergeant Joe Friday and his fight against crime.
Most people will be familiar with the 1987 Dan Ackroyd/Tom Hanks movie, although a new TV version has just begun on the ABC network.
Wargames: The geeks refer to the 1983 Cold War terror-fest, wherein Matthew Broderick hacks into a government mainframe capable of starting World War III. Nowadays, he'd probably have more fun with Command and Conquer.

What's going on?: Everyone seems either oblivious, or far too aware of what's going on this week. Xander calls and waits for an ambulance to arrive, but despite demonic voices booming from Willow's bedroom, doesn't go to check on her or Tara.
Willow, although a little preoccupied with Tara's death, also fails to react to Buffy being shot.
At the other end of the scale, how did Warren know that he'd killed Tara? In fact, how did he kill Tara from that angle?
The skinny on Warren: 6.45pm viewers are probably baffled as to Warren's fate at the end of the episode. Basically, Willow skins him alive before vaporising him. Eew! No wonder they cut it out.
The censors did, however, leave in most of the eye-popping exit of the Warren Bot, which Sky snipped in its 8pm screening.
Clem the babysitter: Everyone's favourite loose-skinned demon ends up looking after Dawn when it's learned that Spike has skipped town. He suggests a game of Parcheesi - probably an in-joke reference to a similar offer by Robo-boyfriend Ted in the classic Season Two episode.

In the lap of the gods: Willow summons Osiris to revive Tara. He's not playing ball, however. This may be because the death wasn't supernatural in nature, or perhaps he's just miffed that she broke his urn in Bargaining.
Evil Willow: Don't mess with her - she's OD'ed on the dark arts. Sucking all the ancient texts from the books in the Magic Box has given her a striking new hair colour too - must be all that ink.
We miss the old, evil 'vampire' Willow though. At least they both have the same "Bored now" catchphrase.
Music: Die, Die My Darling by the Misfits is playing in the demon bar Warren visits.
