Trivia

RILEY, YOU BIG LUG

A shrine to the dumbest man on TV. This week:

Riley isn't evil after all. Phew! There's just a chip in him - but notice they didn't bother putting the chip in his head.

We discover Riley can be remote controlled. Oh Joy. Spike considers him "stiffer than usual". Understandably, the first thing Adam orders him to do is shut up - so he doesn't get to do much.

He performs open heart surgery on himself. Wow. Macho, macho man.

Professor Walsh. Adam has brought his creator back from the dead. Interestingly, now she's a zombie, her bum's got bigger.

Willow's laptop. We haven't paid enough attention to this over the weeks. It's a Mac, which proves the babe has class. Adam, however, is more of a PC guy.

Breaking the code. Between this week and last week, Cordelia rang Willow up for help cracking into a computer of her own.

Forrest. He's back from the dead too, but his acting skills just can't be ressurected.

The last battle. Jeff Pruitt's stunt team produced much more footage for the climatic Initiative fight than wound up in the programme. This episode is his swan song for Buffy - he and his wife Sophia Crawford (Buffy's stunt double) moved on at the end of this season. This was due to creative differences with the production team, and, allegedly, at the orders of one of the stars.

The Joining Spell. The Scooby Gang call on the power of "the primeval one" to form the Uber-Buffy. There could be dire consequences for this. Buffy is the strength, Xander is the heart, Willow is the spirit, and Giles the mind.

The Matrix. Buffy and Adam's fight looks like it owes an awful lot to this Keanu Reeves film (slow-mo bullets and mid-air kicks). This was emphatically not the intention and Joss Whedon was reportedly furious when he watched the rushes.

Adam's power source. Floats on wires, cheaply.
