A spooky night went with a bang at this year's Hillfields Community Bonfire.
The 6th Community Bonfire was held on Friday 1 November 2002 at Frederick Bird School on Swan Lane in Hillfields, Coventry.

The Hillfields Fire Monster came out to spook the crowds again. The monster started the bonfire and led the torch-lit procession.
The art for the procession was made at a series of workshops run by a Community Arts organisation called Arts Exchange.

This year the Community Bonfire offered a ghoulishly good time.
It brought a little Halloween spirit to the evening with the pumpkin costumes.
There was lots for everyone to do with circus and fire performers from the Coventry Community Circus. A lot of fun was had by all.
