Summary of complaint
We received some complaints from people with concerns that the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ had a role to play in the type of flags distributed before the Last Night of the Proms, or their prominence at the venue.
Our response
We understand you’re concerned about reports suggestingΒ that the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ had a role to play in the type of flags distributed, or their prominence at the Royal Albert Hall. This is simply not true – we did not influence this aspect of the evening.
Each year, the audience members choose to bring their own flags, and size limitations are set by the venue within their safety guidelines. We hope this sets the record straight on this matter, and that viewersΒ still appreciated the great performances and occasion.
