Summary of complaint
We have received complaints from people unhappy that the Dambusters raid was referred to as being βinfamousβ.
Our response
When highlighting what was coming up on the programme, we did inadvertently refer to the Dambusters raid as βinfamousβ. Later, when the main item aired, we referred to the βfamousβ raid.
In live programmes, such as Breakfast, errors do occasionally slip through and weβre sorry for this mistake and any offence caused.
