Our response
We have played RóisÃn Murphy’s music on both Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music in the past weeks and her 6 Music Artist Collection remains in rotation.
6 Music’s Artist Collection airs every Tuesday overnight, comprised of programmes from our archive, and they are regularly on rotation to reflect station wide initiatives as and when they get confirmed. Sometimes our schedules change and that can happen at late notice. For 26th September, we have scheduled the Artist Collection from Little Simz to reflect 6 Music’s Way With Words programming, which celebrates poetry, rap and spoken word, in the run-up to National Poetry Day. We are broadcasting a Patti Smith Artist Collection on 3rd October for the same reason.
This means that whilst our Way With Words season is on air in early October, our presenters can direct listeners to discover more relevant, supporting content on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sounds to enjoy.
