Tim is a Sales Rep who is crushingly aware of the pointlessness of his work and the mediocrity that surrounds him. He is the classic under-achiever who rolled life's dice and got a three. He derives a modicum of pleasure from irritating co-worker Gareth.
From the beginning Tim yearned for receptionist Dawn, the one ray of sunshine in his dreary routine, and even summoned the courage to ask her out - despite the intimidating presence of her boyfriend, Lee. When Dawn left Wernham Hogg, Tim tried to move on. Then fate (actually a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ documentary crew) played a part in bringing them back together.

Love Actually? Also, Martin is aka Ricky C when hanging out with the Staines Massive and best mate Ali G. He is also able to advise on what to do after swallowing the Little Book of Calm - as seen in Channel 4's Black Books. Recently you may have seen him in a big curly wide in Charles II or in ITV sitcom Hardware. His next big thing will be playing Arthur Dent in a movie version of The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. He is very good at squash.
