Hottest Record - Jack Penate - 'Be The One'
At the end of 2008 Jack Penate returned with a late contender for song of the year. Thank Goodness, cos it's taken long enough to follow it up. So after near on 5 months of playing 'Tonight's Today', we get closer to his second album 'Everything is New' with a brand new Hottest Record. 'Be The One' is pure pop: a big tune, a dose of Philly soul and just the right side of well produced, making it perfect for our first three each night.
