Back in July the band announce their signing to Adeline Records in the States, which is the label set up by Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong. Around the same time their self-released EP, Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy, gets a Japanese release with In An Out Records. To have such far reaching success for a band without UK backing/label is incredible, and the band follow up this news with a year of long UK tours with bands like Funeral For A Friend, Attack Attack and Out Of Sight.

To end 2009 in style, they were nominated by myself and my team to rep for Wales in a special Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio One, United Nations concert in Mandela Hall, Belfast, a couple of weeks ago. They were first on, and charged on stage, jumping, throwing shapes, egging crowd interaction and general mayhem to the 500 strong crowd, making it pretty darn hard for Twin Atlantic from Scotland to follow such an act.

It's been long road so far for new kings of Newport, Save Your Breath, but I look forward to hearing about more heavy tours, and new songs with equally snappy titles in 2010.
