Few trips happening very soon. Brief schedule below.

15th July
Gabrielle & Jody head off to Madagascar to, amongst other things, record some fascinating stories about Lemurs.
18th July
Julian & Jamie Merritt off to Boston to hook up with Howard (to interview E.O. Wilson), NYC (to find Max Leviton who harbours an amazing Fruit Fly story in Central Park) and Chadden Hunter (an expert on the Enthiopian Highlands) who'll be talking to us about Gelada Baboons - probably from the Bronx Zoo. And then Washington DC to meet Sanjayan, a senior executive from The Nature Conservancy.
18th July
Jan and Gordon Radley off to the English north country to report on butterflies and some clever global warming models.
22nd July
Beatrice and Chris Sperring off to Sweden to have close encounters with horned owls and foxes - And maybe Lynx - A big Euro global warming story.
August
Howard off to California & Nevada to report on a wealth of stories from the coast and mountains respectively.

Hi folks,

Glad you're keeping iup the good work. It just occurred to me that if you're interviewing E O Wilson, you should prepare yourself with a quick perusal of Life is a Miracle, by Wendell Berry. Both Berry and Wilson are on the editorial board of Orion

and Berry's wee book is largely in response to Wilson's bigger Consilience (also worth a read in preparation, though Berry will be easier...

And Howard would like the first page to greet him at the link above (Cactus Ed Abbey)
