Sigh. Council officials. Dont'cha just love 'em? Well, no, actually. Crippled Monkey is not the biggest fan of council officials, particularly when they come in the shape and form of a certain Brian Dutton, chairman of East Hampshire District Council. When Mr Dutton discovered 62 year-old Alan Craggs , he asked him to prove that he was disabled. Mr Craggs explained that he had muscle damage in his left leg which causes him pain and means he is unable to walk long distances, but this wasn't enough for our thorough councillor. Nope, Mr Craggs then had to make like a Freemason and roll up his trouser leg to reveal his many scars and prove his disability. Councillor Dutton has since offered Mr Craggs a written apology.

Comments

My local high street is a nightmare to drive down due to the amount of vehicles parked on double yellow lines with disabled badges. The police can do nothing unless they are actually causing an obstruction.

The benefits I'm told though by police, traffic tends to drive slower because of the build up.
