I wonder if Ray Comfort will also be giving away a banana free with every copy of the Origin?

Evolution has come a long way since Darwin, but Darwin's book remains a beautiful piece of literature and science. Comfort remains an object of ridicule, and rightly so.

Missing the title & scrolling over the article, I got Ray mixed up with Alex. For a moment I thought the author of "The Joy of Sex" had written an intro to "Origin of the Species", and that the world had gone, officially, mad.

For the first time in a long time it was a relief to find that it was only a Creation Scientist writing an intro to the "Origin".

He's actually quite right to point to a certain bias with regard to how creationists and evolutionists are treated.

Churches which are allowed to preach creationism dont have to pay taxes. Scientists who believe in evolution, do. Level the playing field, I say.

Mashing does work. I think there's something 'missing link-ish' about the action of using tools.

I think its both. Something stamped on our DNA seems to come alive with both the action and the taste.

By the way, is 'Troll' in any way connected with the term, 'Off his trolly'?

I think it's more about living under bridges, but coming out to grunt and groan at the kids every so often. :)

I once opened a Pot Noodle and found a live insect inside. It turned out to be the tastiest thing in it.

Have just watched a report on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Breakfast Television that a fossil of a flying reptile has just been found in China which has been dated as 160 million years old.

Given that the world is only 6 thousand years old, we can now reasonably assume that what preceded the earth for about 159, 994 000 years, was some sort of tree with a big branch protruding from it for the said reptile to perch on.

This would also explain why a mature apple tree makes such an early appearance in the Adam and Eve story.

I'm so glad that, that problem has now been definitively resolved.
