What was the gem that you discovered this time? That Andy Burnham would rather the world did not know he supported the campaign, while simultaneously posing for a photo highlighting it and giving an interview referring to it?

Appreciating that there is little of political heft to 'report' or comment upon at the moment, ahem, as Newsnight is floundering for topics might it be time again for a caption contest?

This seems a worthy initial offering as I presume the Heath Secretary is demonstrating the results of the efficacy of the new euthanasia scarf for those the NHS can't cope with, but who keep embarrassing it and him and Gordon by knocking about until the Trust CEO fouls up so badly they need to be promoted, paid off and pensioned.

But I can see how, in the run up to an election, PR'ing pols' footy-empathy might seem more important than those at the top being rewarded not just for failure, but everything else, including breaking laws mere voters who get banged up for.
