From Kingdom Come, track 14 to be exact, I give to you Jay-Z featuring Chris Martin from Coldplay and 'Beach Chair'
Click to listen but please come back here and comment... Please...

From XXL:
“Yeah, it’s the last song on the album. It’s called ‘Beach Chair.’ And it’s like one of my favorite songs. He [Chris] just sent these chords, I mean these shits is so crazy. I’m a have Dre do the drums over. But the subject matter of the song is almost I guess it’s almost talking to your unborn kid. One of the lines is like, ‘I got demons in past/So I got daughters on the way/If the prophecies correct/Then the child shall have to pay/For the sins of the father/So I barter my tomorrows/Against my yesterdays/And hopefully she’ll be ok/And when I’m no longer here/To shade her face from the gray/I give her my share of Carol’s Daughter/And a new beach chair.’ All the joints end with something like that.â€

What do we think? Is Jigga and Coldplay the best rock rap collabo since erm...Jigga and Linkin Park or are we waiting for the accapellas to be released so someone can rock it over a different beat?

man, why would anybody let dre touch anything?

ok song though. i'm not gunna get the leak, gunna wait for the proper release... but it sounds like there's gunna be some nice tracks concept wise, no sick old school jigga flows (which i "can" live without), but there's probably gunna be a bunch of swag beats. should of just stayed with blaze and gone back for primo and gotti etc. then again, maybe when i listen i'll change my mind. but with dre on about half a dozen tracks, probably not.

Aw dangit! I hate those whispery style Hov tunes and he's allready got two on Kingdom Come. He should quit the whispering isht. Oh the beat? Not really feeling. I don't mind the loop but the drums are in the next room and the chorus is week.

Bse...I feel you on that whispery flow comment...I think J should open up his mouth & spit(No Flem Please). Also if it wasn't his Bredrin Chris Martin that gave him that beat would he even of given it a 2nd listen? I wonder if Dre would touch up one of my beats?

I think Mistajam expected me to come & diss the Jay album on his blog. Well I'm not gonna do that Jam, reason being I don't think the album is that bad...It's just not that great!

I woulda been happy to have the last memory of JZ as the Black album. Kingdom come is not even close to that. Maybe on a few more listens it may be judged differently, but right now it's not on repeat in the ride.

It's gonna be interesting to see how many mics it gets in the Source. Hmmmm.....Do those mics even matter anymore?

Do mics matter now? no. It's all about the XXL X's...and of course the Seani B and MistaJam opinion which seems to be mirrored for Kingdom Come.

There are some hot joints, but it's not Jay-Z standard.
