    Took me a couple of reads but found it in the end. Do the Councils not proof-read their signs before they get printed (or whatever the equivalent is with roadsigns)!??

    This is interesting. I know the clue was in the title of the blog post - but I looked at this image long and hard and saw nothing wrong with the signs. I think this is a perfect example of distraction theory - much used by the illusionist Paul McKenna. I suspect a lot of folks, like me, studied the blue sign in detail thinking that would be where the fault would lie, having just had a transitory glance at the Cotwsold sign below. Fascinating. Anyway, saw the mis-spelling of 'Cotswold' eventually. This image should form part of a psychometric test in a job interview situation.
