Kylie has left the building...
Just come off air after our Kylie show. Status….exhausted but exhilarated! Sounds silly saying exhausted but that's down to the nervous energy. As much as you might try to tell yourself that there's nothing to worry about and she's just another person….blah blah. The reality is that she's actually exceedingly famous and is bloomin' KYLIE. And at the end of the day - you want it to be a great experience for her and a great listen for everyone concerned.
She loved doing the Neighbours re-enactment - considerably more than me!! Feedback from my listeners was that I sounded less Mrs Mangel and more like a bad Dame Edna Everage - while Kylie threw herself into the role of Charlene after all those years… see for yourselves here:
She was incredibly lovely to be around - showed us how to walk in high heels - it's all about the swing in the hips apparently - she said she does more damage to herself in flats than in heels after years of practice.
Other observations….she's a real list person - writing down everything…
...shoe recommendations for me - where to go shopping etc... - and she doesn't mind when early breakfast show DJs come in wearing full showgirl regalia. Thanks for the coffee, Greg!
Feel good about today's show and full of admiration for a woman who's providing much inspiration to others facing the trials that she has gone through herself...

Kylie was brilliant yesterday!!! Shame about Jo's rendition. Spoiled it a bit. Perhaps kylie should think about a permanent dj fixture starting at 10am. It would be fantastic. She would bring inspiration to us all!!! and a lot more male listeners!!!

Kylie is so brave, funny, enchanting and I even like her music now (am ancient so remember the first 'hits' with Jason - urggh).

WOW Kylie is amazing I can't believe that you got her on your show for the morning - not something that Madonna would ever do! Great show, so funny and interesting. It is great ti see Kylie back on form, loving 2 hearts and dying to hear the new album that everyone is buzzing about. Jo - great part you played doing the neighbours set soooooooooooooooo funny! i have just listened to leona lewis on ure live lounge that girl is just absolutely fantastic and people saying she is the next mariah or whitney i think is rubbish SHE IS BETTER !!!! I loved hearing Kylie the other day especially the acting done by Jo and Kylie it was so good took me rite back to the days.
