Bish Bash Bosh Boosh!
Phew….we've just been Booshed and are feeling rather flushed and dishevelled as a result….see the photos here
Noel and Julian aka Vince Noir and Howard Moon turned up around 10.30 for soundcheck - Julian was sat strumming like a medieval minstrel while Noel paced up and down like an anxious rockstar about to make his debut at Wembley…except it was bigger than that it was the return of the Live Lounge to its rightful place here at Radio 1 HQ
Maida Vale is a very special place and has an important place in Â鶹ԼÅÄ history but being here makes the Live Lounge a more intimate affair - it means the bands can hang out with us on the show before they play live so we can get to know them a bit better and the whole thing should be a bit more relaxed and spontaneous.
The last time the Boosh came in they were incapable of speech because they'd been riding the party train very hard so this time round I was pretty relieved that they were knackered but not hungover or still drunk.

They talked about how they want to do the festivals next year - coming onstage randomly and doing a couple of songs as different characters. We joked about how we could have had the Foos in but instead went with the Boosh and what an honour it was...
Then we were treated to Love Games done in character as Howard and Old Gregg - which we weren't expecting.
All in all a real success - they were in great spirits. Have honestly never seen Julian so animated and focused - gave them little pressies….rock 'n roll t-shirts for Julian's babies - a blue feather boa for Noel. Find out what they thought here.

i love the mighty boosh there mint i have seires 1 and 2 on dvd there gr8 noels dress sence is amazing i would wear it but i would get beat up round were i live
