Introducing online producer

Every week Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1 gives up one of its prestigious playlist slots for a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing artist leading to airplay on its biggest daytime shows. This week it’s the gloriously named and their track Rango. Listen to it below and share your thoughts in the comment section.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔtown: Catfish and The Bottlemen are from Llandudno, North Wales.

Style:  Released as a single this September, Rango is an urgent, passionate indie rock track and a great advert for modern guitar music. It builds towards and frenetic finale under frontman Van McCann’s coolly delivered vocal and we’re sure fans of The Vaccines and The Wombats are really going to dig it.

You should know: Catfish and The Bottlemen are on our stage at Reading and Leeds festival. They play Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday – don’t worry if you aren’t there, as soon as they are ready.

Supported by:Β Rango has been well supported across Xfm, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 6 Music and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1, where it was Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record at the end of July. The band have also have had a number of tracks played by who nominated the band for their slot at Reading and Leeds.
