After the phenomenal success of our during last year's Commonwealth Games, we’ve decided to do it again! On Sunday 7th June, I'm delighted to say there's a full day dedicated to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing from the pop-up festival site, outside Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland. The line-up is bursting with brilliance, with a collection of artists set for big things in the future. All the artists playing are from Scotland and have come through the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing Uploader on my Radio Scotland show - spanning genres from indie, rock, electronica, hip-hop, pop and acoustic song.

Here's a list of who's playing our outdoor stage:

  • Honeyblood - Signed to Fatcat Records and nominated for a SAY Award, this female indie-grunge duo have an armoury of amazing songs and a great live show - the perfect headliners!
  • United Fruit - With their 2nd album of anthemic, hook-filled songs about to drop, these dynamic noise-rockers are fresh from playing SXSW with their trademark full-on live experience.
  • Jonnie Common - Soulful, witty and wry in equal amounts, Jonnie serves up comedy and tragedy in equal amounts over his own quirky, electro-acoustic, pop ditties.
  • Kobi Onyame - Hip-Hop from Ghana and Glasgow, Kobi the wordsmith gracefully steps between soul-searching contemplation, afro-tinged grooves and classic bangin' tunes!
  • Man of Moon - Moody and mysterious; this guitar/drums duo cross indie, psychedelic mantras and tripped-out space-rock, never letting experimentation get in the way of a good tune.
  • Sorren Maclean - An experienced, respected and revered Isle of Mull based songwriter, Sorren delivers effortless, heartfelt, lilting acoustic songs by the dozen.
  • Ubre Blanca – Two men on a mission to bring cinematic soundscapes, synth-pop, 70's prog and krautrock into a present day setting, with epic tunesmithery.
  • KLOË - With slinky, ultra-modern production; slick melodies; honest, personal lyrics and vocal delivery; KLOË is a perfect electro-pop chanteuse.

Throughout the day there will also be DJs, talks and masterclasses. I'll be hosting a Q&A with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing success stories Twin Atlantic, and there will be a unique opportunity to take part in a songwriting workshop with homegrown hip-hop heroes Hector Bizerk. We will of course be recording the acts on the main stage for future broadcast and celebrating with highlights shows across Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing platforms on radio and online. It promises to be great day, showcasing some cutting-edge talent on home turf... I hope to see you there!
