This week we return to SXSW festival in Texas for the first time since 2008. Back then, we were lucky enough to showcase this American debut from Florence + The Machine, a performance that Florence still hosts proudly on her YouTube channel.

In case you’ve missed it, we return with six acts for a showcase on . These acts are Thumpers, Cousin Marnie, Longfellow, Royal Blood, Public Service Broadcasting and Woman’s Hour – a line-up chosen in collaboration with . It’s a line-up that Â鶹ԼÅÄ Introducing and 6 Music are really proud of, with a great spread of artists at various points in their exciting careers.

We will be filming the showcase out there and producing a couple of tracks for each artist which we will start sharing next Monday 17^th March through Steve’s show. There will be photos and coverage through our , and accounts too.

We will also be looking to track down a number of Â鶹ԼÅÄ Introducing artists that are in town. A look at the line-up for SXSW and of the thousands of performances out there, there are plenty of familiar names. From Rhodes, supported by and playlisted on Radio 1 last year to Slaves, supported by , there are so many acts we are proud of.

Using our ‘slickly photoshopped’ Wanted Poster () and our network of Twitter contacts (all using ) we will be aiming to catch up with as many Â鶹ԼÅÄ Introducing acts as possible and will keep you updated with our progress.
