Essential: L Devine is 21-year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Olivia Devine, from Whitley Bay in Tyne and Wear, who has been supported by Introducing in the North East since 2018. She's influenced by Robyn and Lorde and says: “I make cool pop. That's always been what I've wanted to do, is make pop music that's cool and interesting. Not following trends. There's something so amazing about crafting the perfect pop song.” 'Nervous' is a track about a first date, and is taken from L's new 'Peer Pressure' EP.

Essential: July 7 is a producer and singer from Manchester who has been supported by Introducing since 2017. He started off making beats in his bedroom as a teen and sending them off to artists he admired, which led him to work with Travis Scott, T.I, Young Thug as a producer. Now, he is branching out as an artist. He said: “As a self taught musician, I made well use of the internet and social media in order to bridge the gap from the UK to the US, which eventually led to me heading out to the states to live and work with the artists I look up to". The production and vocals on his music are all his own - making him one of the most prolific self-sufficient artists in the UK right now.
