We are looking to migrate the majority of all existing devices with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ iPlayer to the new version. However, with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ iPlayer now available on over 1,200 devices, this is a major task and will take a bit of time. Today, I am happy to announce the next wave of devices is ready to go.

We developed our Chromecast capabilityΒ in partnership with Google. They provided us with their software development kit for us to integrate Chromecast connectivity into our iPlayer apps. We were also given some design rules to define how the cast experience was to work in use.
