My Computers Down says Comedy
Yep you guessed it Dave was meant to share his thoughts today but he's just off the phone saying he's experiencing technical difficulties so I've assumed blogging responsibilities.

Greetings readers of the Blog I hope you're well this Thursday afternoon. As I sit at my desk attempting to do some work my thoughts keep wandering to Sunday. It's the Great North Run and I am swinging from excitment to being absolutely petrified. Some of you will remember that I did it last year. I keep thinking about the hill that starts at about 4 miles and finishes at about the 6 miles point. Hilariously though we have just had it confirmed that Sue Barker will be talking to Comedy Dave on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ1 at about 10:20am on Sunday morning, so you'll probably see Carrie, Longman, myself and Mr Rachel bobbing behind him! Dave's also going to be phoning in to Vernon's show on Sunday so you can hear him pant and try and hold a conversation at the same time! That'll be amusing.
So onto next week....Hoop Dogg (who is the online department of the Chris Moyles Show) has suggested that I use my blog to promote next week's guests. Which I shall do....
On Monday we will be joined by Rio Ferdinand. Wednesday we have Mobo Award winner Corinne Bailey Rae. Thursday it's Gordon Ramsey and Friday it's Jack Osborne.
We also have a few other good guests coming in the following week, so make sure you listen out for Chris announcing those.
Well that's all from me folks. Have a nice day now.

In November of last year in one of my (then) new appointment sessions with the Record Companies Parlaphone introduced me to this new singer βLilyβ who apparently had no connections to the music industry. But I loved the track (LDN).So much so I stuck her track on my .
Almost a year later, the βAllenβ part's come out as has her family tree, she has a hit single (Smile) under her belt and I was WELL excited to be meeting the Princess Chav herself.
Good morning bloggers or afternoon bloggers or indeed good evening bloggers depending on what time you are reading this. I've now decided I don't like the name 'bloggers'. Why you might ask - well its because it rhymes with joggers..and that makes me think of running and namely the ...

Hello. My name's Dominic Byrne and I'm a computer hater. This is a controversial topic as the only way you can read this blog is of course by actually using a PC, but i will not be moved. I've been having news computer problems and without getting bogged down about names etc.... it's all pants
We're in Bristol tonight for some karaoke fun, and the show will be coming from there on Friday morning too.
In the true spirit of blogging here's a tediously-detailed amount of information about our train journey:
11:52 We board at London Paddington. I'm sat with Rachel, Dom, Carrie and Joce. Joce has a megaphone with her but we don't know why. Chris the DJ talent is in First Class away from us normos, for health and safety reasons...

Dear Web Friends,
It's my turn to blogographise my life today with the help of my trusty computer, so this is me literally writing stuff to you, about me from my home where I live.
Today I'm mainly feeling rubbish, as a result of contracting a particularly nasty strain of which has been bandied around the team after being introduced to the group by Carrie who no doubt got it from boys. I don't want to be one of those people who goes on and on about being ill, even though this particular case is highly debilitating and makes doing even the most mundane of tasks very difficult.
As you may have probably heard, the footballer man David Beckham came in to see us this moring.
I've seen him on TV lots of times, and I think it's widely agreed he's a decent-looking bloke.
However, even straight, married men like myself and early news editor Toby Sealey found him strangely attractive.
Hello,
Blimey just read Aled's blogβ¦he's gone a bit corporate! How rude that's my role. Saying that I think he gave a good insight into the playlist meetingβ¦.music decided whilst eating muffins. What he didn't tell you is that he also spends the meeting reading Heat and OK. No seriously, I respect Aled as a colleague and hold him in high esteem for his position on the committee.
Hey blogsters
Iβm blogging today while wearing my Radio 1 playlist hat rather than one of Chrisβ Producers on The Chris Moyles Show.
Playlist is when the Radio 1 Music Team get together with a handful of Producers from around the building and discuss all things music. We discuss what songs should go on the Radio 1 playlist, how many times they should be played in a week and which ones have been played enough so should come off.
I have two children. My wife therefore has given birth twice. Now.... this may be controversial but it has to be said. When a man gets a cold or flu, the amount of pain/discomfort he is in is comparable to childbirth. Those aren't my words, those are the words of ... well, they are my words but i'm sure it's correct. Probably.
Howdy blog partners! It's my turn again. Was supposed to do one last week but then Aled had to do his whole "I'm scared of flying" thing so we thought him talking to Paul McKenna would be more interestingβ¦anyway..it's Monday and I think I am still suffering from a somewhat large weekend. Some vineyards in France have quite frankly run out of grapes...
I felt rubbish this morning for the radio show. I seemed to have caught this damn cold bug that carrie had and this morning I sounded rubbish for the whole show. I HATE taking time off so I went into work, but by 8am I wish I'd stayed in bed!

So where is everyone?
By the time you read this Aled may be conquering his fear of flying and will be jetting over to NYC. Executive producer Rhys has gone off to Bestival for the weekend, look out for a man with a goatee beard probably dancing like a loon.
Without wanting to turn this blog into the Paul McKenna appreciation society I have to say, he's very good. More importantly though it's surprising how simple his methods are!
Hello to all you blog readers and greetings on a Tuesday.
Once again I'm blogging to you from my desk at Radio 1 HQ. I did think I'd be blogging from home today, but my morning went a bit wrong.

People who feed pigeons and birds in general must be odd. As part of my training for the Great North Run, Iβm currently spending more time than usual in parks (for exercise and fitness reasons) and Iβve decided that I donβt understand why people insist on feeding these flocks of flying vermin.
