It's Good To Talk (especially about the things people don't usually talk about)
So following on from the colonoscopy adventure, sooo many people have contacted me thanking me for talking about it on the radio - many of them currently working in the prevention of bowel/colon cancer. The more I learn about it, the crazier it is that people don't get checked.
Can I thank you for all your thank yous, but there's really no need. That's what shows like mine are for. I simply wouldn't be doing my job properly if I brushed something so important and worthy of exposure under the carpet.

This is the 'MADNESS' in the UK.... We MOT our cars... Get out boilers checked regularly... etc.... Yet there's no proper annual MOT for ourselves!!!!!!!
If we all checked for cancer.... And let's face it with all the radiation around from microwave ovens... ter mobile phones... ter computer dongles... ter fancy electronics in modern cars/ 'ousehold products like tvs... even fuel gives off carsonagenical fumes.... A think this could be the reason for so much cancer around!!!!!!!!!!
Our bodies are being subjected ter doses of radiation more than the natural amount we get from the sun!!!!!!!!!!
Which is why right now.... Am off ter me local Boots store ter ask one of the very friendly female assistants if they will check me forthe same problem that CLP' ad!!!!!!!!!!!
