Have a lovely time with little Noah at your lovely mums. I have to say that some of the happiest days of my life were spent at my mums with my son when he was little. I particularly remember Sunday evening after having such a wonderful Sunday roast and then a delicious tea and then watching The Muppet Show just before leaving to catch the bus home.

I have to agree with the Evans collective - the old Fireman Sam's are far superior. In the same way that the new Thomas series where they all have their own voices are just not as good as the old one. (can you tell I have small children!)

Afternoon CLP and the rest, from a beautifully sunny Edinburgh.

Fireman Sam eh? I didn't know that was still made, that was on when I was younger. My earliest kids TV show memories include Pigeon St, Rainbow, and Button Moon. Am less familiar with current kids TV, apart from In the Night Garden, which my 2 year old goddaughter loves!

Chris, have had a day of Cebebbies with gorgeous little granddaughter so I know all about Fireman Sam and the rest. We also ran about the garden in the sun like a couple of mad things. And yes, mum's biscuit tin has no calories at all, according to my daughter.

Annie just got to tell you that our eldest daughter has just arrived back from Her w/end in Edinburgh ,been visiting their Fireman friend .
She said that she'd had a great time and loved it and will definitely be going back .
And the weather was good good ,so long may it last for you and the other wee lasses up ther .

She might Annie ,just depends when it is . Is it some when around September time ??? she was definitely impressed by the whole city ,she was telling me about the houses under the ground that they have built over .
And we now have a lovely haggis sitting in the fridge ,whisky fudge ,Mr B has a bottle of single malt and I've even got a Christmas ornament from the Christmas shop.

Well i've promised myself some early nights this week as I have a special B/day celabration to prepare for this Friday ,My daughters Partner so Im now going to get my head stuck in some cook books ,need a nice dessert .
I've got the cake organised ,and the trifle bits ready ,nice fruit jelly ,just need a nice grown up one for the adults preferably one that you put booze in ,so off I go and wish me luck .

Hi everyone,
Hope you're all well, especially Chris, Noah and Mrs. Evans (Snr. & younger).
I used to love it when my three little ones would come home from school, have their tea and we'd all sit down in front of the telly watching all sorts of goodies on the good old Beeb, before homework and bath-time. Happy days - miss it all so much and will just have to wait until they (my three little ones that are now big) produce some lovely little bambinos of their own for me to cuddle and enjoy telly programmes with. Long live Andy Pandy, Pingu, Nellie the Elephant (bit too close to home e.g. my waistline - that one) Thundercats and He-Man.

Oops forgot to end my post. Night all - beddie-bi-bos for me - that dratted work thing again in the morning. Sigh - but musn't grumble - hubby was made redundant in November after 34 year with the railway. At least I can still put pennies in the bank.
