I've loved watching Britain's got talent, the finals and the whole run up. One of the acts that I loved most were the two guys dancing naked - Ian and I didn't catch his friend's name. They certainly made me laugh!

The last two weeks have seen like an eternity. My afternoons are just not the same..... Although Chris, you did miss some really good stuff on the blog....

Hi Bridget. Good weekend thanks. Glad you had a good weekend too. Sunday was sunny here but I don't think the temps got out of the 50s. It was like an autumn day, very windy.

Chrissie, LOL agreed!! If we had only approved two weeks, he wouldn't be suffering from the holiday spread....LOL I agree with Chris though, when you're on holiday, the last thing one thinks about or wants to do, is exercise.... Although I remember on my last trip home, I upset my folks because I went for a run before breakfast.... oh well!!

My son has gone right off of you by the way....we were watching the Grand Prix together and I was telling him how I had driven around the circuit (had to explain that they were normal roads when I did) and pointed out the yachts. I then said, you know that man on the radio at dinnertime (dinnertime! that'll be contentious with the northern contingent) he's on one of those!
He was really - genuinely jealous......actually.....so was I!!!

Have got a white stripe on me feet where I forgot the cream on Saturday - that North East wind is very misleading; feels cold, burns yer skin off.

Rosie, am flying to Stockholm for a wedding mid July. I think it's quite a bit away from the city, staying in a summerhouse in a courtyard. That's all I know so far.

Weather has been hot, hot, today but apparently going to get cooler and wetter towards the weekend. Bums - off to Rothiemurchus and Loch Insh on Saturday.

Haven't caught up on here for so long that I can't now, so hope that everyone is well.

Regarding Susan Boyle I really do think that she should be left alone now. There were people hiding in bushes at the hospital today trying to get a picture of her and loads of them outside the gate too. They were trying to get information from fellow patients and I think it's horrible, to my knowledge they were unsuccessful I'm pleased to say.

This weather is amazing, totally making the most of it when I get the chance anyway. Loving my garden at the moment.

Regarding the little fella from wales, know you think he has confidence and has a good set of lungs, but am I the only one who recognises him from the cbeebies programme grandpa in my pocket, my 3 year old son loves the programme, have seen the episode where he sings in Miss Smileys cafe too many time.

Debbie - I agree with you re Susan. Leave the poor woman alone to get her head together. It is probably the best thing that she didn't win. I don't think she could have coped.

Only just managed to get on line - friends son has spent two hours trying to get my wireless router to recognise my new netbook - so that I can blog/surf from the comfort of the sofa - but the piece of crap that the router is, it just wouldn't have it!! so have now ordered a new wireless router to see if that works - otherwise so far the netbook is a very large mp3 player!

That's probably my lot for tonight so I will catch all you lovelies tomorrow.

So good to have you back, have to say it's the quickest two hours of the day!

Really pleased you had a great holiday. I managed to control my intake of bread and cheese for most of my week but eventually succumbed! Only gained 1lb - not bad for a week in sunny Provence!

Speaking of adorable litte boys. DebbieC on one of the days I was looking after my friends little girl we were watching Cbeebies and your little man and his Grandad were on! He was a star, delightful little boy and an absolute credit to his Mummy and Daddy. You should be very proud of him.

I envy Natasha her golden tan. I was weeding the garden yesterday, covered in factor 30 on my face and arms but oblivious to the fact that in bending over I was exposing a bit of a builders' bum. I now have a livid stripe of sunburn which I have been told is called a "pickers' smile" across my nether regions.

It was a great party Beez except I ended up falling asleep in the holly bush,not the comfiest of places but a serious amount of bottle glugging had gone on and thats where i found myself the next morning,rudely awoken by 2 amorous pigeons trying to make a nest with my hair!

OO,what a scorcher it has been driving about today,29c according to the in car therm.

Gonna get an earlier one tonight as I am actually bushed.
