the problem is - if i had a house like the one on the blog - I wouldn't need to go away - problem is we don't have space for a hot tub and a swimming pool, plus a fleet of lovely cards in my three bed terrence with single garage and tiny garden!

I'm not jealous - just pointing out that with a house like that - a staycation would be easier

    Morning afternoon evening!
Wonky wire finally conked regardless of bashing against wall and stamping on it! Had to wait for nice delivery man in yellow Link van to arrive with new kit - lunchtime!
Got fed up waiting so went shopping sans Mr B and doggy so only just back!

Will catch up hopefully - very confused - all these blogs and I only spent 70 squid - bad girl not enough in 3 hours!

    Evening gang

Have just peeked thru the fotos of the OB and have to say auld bean, that is one heck of a gaff your mate has there!

Listening to the show tonight brought back memories of 14 Feb 07 when Radio 5 Live did a live OB from the landfill site where I was working at the time. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ turned my education room into a studio and it was absolutely chaos. Fun. But chaos! I also got dragged into a debate on smoking in public places. Even tho the theme for that evening's show was recycling.

    Great stuff.

Anyhoooo sweeties, I'm offski to spend a couple of days with my truly wonderful hubby in a rather nice hotel in Covent Garden. Spamalot tomorrow night, then The Emirates on Friday morning - with Charlie George, no less!

    Excited? Me? Hell yes!!!!

Miss me while I'm gone, and be nice to eachother!

    CtD xxxxxx

PS: big flirty hugs to DtM, MfR, DD etc etc xxxx

PPS: Seems an age since we had any love spuds on here ;-)

Oh wow we were certainly spoilt 3 blogs in one day.

I staycationed in the healthy place - the swimming pool (25m) and virtually empty of people. The steam room - wonderful changing tiny lights and dark room - only two people in it. finally the jacuzzi for 2 sessions as it goes on for 8 mins and off for 5mins so you don't spend too long in it.

Cheryl enjoy your mini break in London.

Ms Scooby - where you been girl, nice to see you back.

Clodagh you are still the funniest person I have ever had the fortune to meet virtually.

All the best to everyone for thirst thursday

Funny thing I nearly bought a hot tub that size last year instead purchased healthy club membership so could use indoor/outdoor pool as well as that hot tub/jacuzzi. Was even going to get the shed to put it in as well - worked out where in the garden to put an all.

Garden I have is big enough and I managed to get to do some pruning Tuesday night after work - but it is only a drop in the ocean out there with all the rain and lack of time it is a jungle, believe me.

Air show starts tomorrow and I will be in an office block nowhere near it. Might just catch a glimpse if they go back towards the airport or even over Christchurch area.

I've enjoyed the show today could you do some more like this - remember last year when you went out to pubs etc more bbc more please

    Good morning my waterlogged friends.

Well that's me off to catch me boat so a bientot and can I be associated with the sentiments of the previous marvellous eejit and say Play Nicely Girls and Boys.

And Cheryl, enjoy Spamalot. The daughter and I saw it on Broadway a couple of years back and it's hilarious. Watch out for the little hay wagon, you'll know what I mean when you see it..

Ok am off to drive once around the block so I can remember everything I've forgotten.

Ps. Anybody got a remedy for hair loss caused by the wrenchin' of the bathin' cap from the head by the Genius daughter on Renee's front path, employin' the Half-Nelson and Step-Over-Toe hold, as used so effectively by her Great-Granddad during his bouts with Mick McManus.

Nowt worse than hat hair is there. You know the syndrome. Hat comes off and you look like the top of a can of fly spray.

    morning all

back with a bump, less than 24hrs after landing I was on a night shift (first of 4 this week!) and boy am I tired. Seems a distant memory already. Had a lovely time, won a big prize in the complex raffle so we're off to the shops on Sunday to spoil ourselves rotten.

Didn't get to hear the show last night but I guess it all went swimmingly *groan*

Hope you're all well and played nice in my absence. Have a great weekend Cheryl. Wonder if the memorabilia has been unpacked yet?????
