In honour of the mighty Foofs doing their enormous Wembley Stadium gigs this weekend, we ask the following (affectionate) question: What is going on with Dave Grohl's face these days?

I mean, he's clearly a lovely bloke, rock royalty, phenomenally-talented, one of a select breed of drummers who you can actually spot on record without knowing it's him, and the leader of a badass rock troupe. But unless he's having trouble with his wisdom teeth, or has contracted facial mumps, he's starting to look like he has taken to using his cheeks for storage purposes.

Surely his facial hair isn't so heavy as to drag his cheeks down from his eyes? I mean I know he's into things which are HEAVY, but a metal beard? That's just silly...
