Anyway OH MY GOD the standard of entries has been...well it's hard to define using mere words. Let's just say there are some ASTONISHING pictures in this blog posting, and that judging the 'best' two is going to be extremely hard work indeed.
That's not just me being nice, by the way, as you'll see from these examples...
OK, so, starting off with one of the more straighforward entries...here's Charlotte Marshall giving it maximum ROCK 'N' ROLL 'TUDE...
Sorry, did I say maximum? I clearly need to re-calibrate my ROCK-ometer. As Heather Carroll has so magnificently demonstrated...
God, this Rock-ometer is useless! Hayley Moffatt has set a new world record for sneering. It's almost as if she doesn't care that (whispers) she doesn't really look much like Avril Lavigne, eh?
Some people opted to try and re-create a specific Avril photo, like Chazy Chaz here, with the cover of some CD or other...
...or Amy Holder, who as re-created a very famous Avril photo...
...course, you can take things a bit too far, right, Andrew Williams?
Or not far enough, as Liz Taylor has ably illustrated. Don't mock though, she did admit in her email that she looks nothing like Avril, and she's right.
