Towers Of London - 'I'm A Rat'

Towers of LondonOh dear. The fact that Towers of London’s latest…ahem…masterpiece starts with the sound of air-raid sirens tells you all you need to know about it. For once, you should listen to the nice string vested-man (but don’t look him in the eye) and run for cover from Donny “The Great Escape†Tourette and his band of stinky-looking minions.

As painful as a piece of shrapnel lodged in your brain, the Towers grate through a series of rock’n’roll clichés cheesier than their matching Bon Jovi ‘dos, and smellier than those vests.

Whilst his declaration of being a rat might not be biologically correct, the Tourette-twins and their skanky brethren have certainly proved themselves to be the vermin of music with this flea-ridden travesty. They'll probably be congratulating themselves on being discussed in such a way, as it enhances their 'ousider mentality' or somesuch daft old cack. Oh well. So long as you're happy, boys...

As for the rest of us, to the air-raid shelters, every man Jack of you, until the coast is clear for your ears to be exposed again!

I actually cannot believe you are saying all this bulls*** about towers of london. if you ever had actually seen them play live you would then understand the fact that they truley are an AMAZING band to see, as soon as they come up on stage you feel like the only person in the room and the buzz they give you by playing some ****ing brilliant songs, which actually make sense to the fans. Why should towers be like all the other s****y music nowadays, seems as though to get played on radio 1 you need to be rich and sing a cheesy pop song that will be a hit for a few weeks then no one else will like your other music. where as towers are differant, every one of their songs are good, and maybe if you lot were actually into punk you would enjoy listening to them. Look my advice is to see them live, and trust me you will want to be playing their songs on the radio afterwards. My mate (a massive mcfly fan) went to see towers live and now she's listening to the album everyday!!
so stop all this s*** about them, whats wrong with playing a siren....?? isnt it up to your standards, its differant and GOOD.
Oh and erm one star..pfft go stick some headphones in your ears and listen to some bloody decent music! Im dissapointed in you radio 1, i thought you are open to any kind of music, im listening to the towers album more than i am your radio, i used to be a great fan of the chris moyles show until this.
    thanks..
