Nelly Furtado - 'All Good Things (Come To An End)'
Fact #1: Chris Martin co-wrote this track. Sad face. Fact #2: He was meant to sing on it too, but for some reason the record label decided to remove his vocals from the final cut. Yay! Every cloud, and all that.

As you might've guessed from the Coldplay link, there's nary a whiff of feisty 'Promiscuous' Nelly here - she's been replaced by reflective, wistful (or pro-wistful-ous, if you'd rather) Nelly.
Don't panic though - it actually works, pretty much. There's a definite end-of-summer vibe to this one, with the exotic percussion sounding distorted and distanced and a Latin tint to the guitars. It's not as instant as the other two singles from this album, but it's charming and potent in a more subtle way.
We still have a slight bone to pick with Nelly for sticking the frankly incredible 'No Hay Igual' out as a silly double A-side with this, rather than in its own right, but we'll continue our grump in relative silence for now...

I love this track, It's like the old stuff before she decided to jump on the typical Pop Princess band wagon (though thankfully she didn't go OTT!). Nelly's new stuff is awesome, but prefered the old stuff like Turn Off The Light and Powerless.
Chris Martin? No wonder I cannot STAND this 'song'...And just when I'd started to like her for the first time in her career too...:o(
