Honours, non releases & how far will you travel for love?

It's award season time and Bollywood star Aamir Khan & Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman were amongst a host of artistes selected for one of India's most prestigious awards: the Padma Bhushan. Screen diva Rekha and actor Saif Ali Khan were also honoured with the Padma Shri. These awards areÌýthe equivalent toÌýour Knighthoods andÌýso we celebrated themÌýin style onn the showÌýWe dedicated Strictly Five Factor to the news, playing our five all time classic Rekha songs!

Rekha, as we all know, is Pablo's all time favourite star and she's the only star he was left speechless by when we bumped into her in

South Molton Street
in London. She has totally transformed herself from the "Bindaas Babe" to the elegant style icon that's referred to as Bollywood's Greata Garbo. Congratulations from Raj & Pablo to La Rekha! Dame Judy Dench eat your heart out.

It's not often we get annoyed, but you should have seen our disappointmentÌý when we were toldÌý thatÌý 'Ishqiya' starring the talented Vidya Balan, Nasserudin Shan and Arshad WarsiÌý was not releasing in the UK. Co- produced by Vishal Bhardwaj, the trailers look really good and everyone is raving about the movie in Bollyland. It's a tale of two crooks on the run in deepest darkest dangerous India and on their travels they meet a widow played by Vidya. ÌýA controversial 15 certificate is why it hasn't hit our cinemas here in the UK though. ÌýCan't wait to eventually see this one - SO DISAPPOINTED!!
