BAABARR OR BUST
Being the intrepid bollywood explorers that we are we risked the dangerous of long distance travel and went all the way to Ilford to watch the 'big' Bollywood release that was Baabarr on Friday. Well, what can we say!Μύ Two hours getting there and four hours back.Μύ The cinema was jam packed - with FOUR people in it (that included us). The best thing we can say about BAABARR is it' s like a poor man's version of OMKARA - stick to the original!
We had a 'dahling' infused telephone chat with the new svelte and sexy Rani Mukherjee just before she boarded a flight to Toronto for the film festival. DIL BOLE HADIPPA is out next week, lets hope it works out - the promos look good and Rani plays a "double" role - a fiesty punjabi kudi and a cricket loving boy. The music's doing really well and Rani told us she was glad she was finally away from all her 'rona dhona' roles.
The other movie out next week is WANTED with Salman Khan and the newly married Ayesha Takia.Μύ Directed by Prabhudeva who also choregraphed one of the songs with Salman jiving along with Govinda and Anil Kapoor.Μύ Anil only agreed to take part after Salman asked him personally.
