Ismael Saadat

Producer, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Afghan Service and presenter, Open Jirga, Ismael joined the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in 1997 in Kabul. Since then, he's covered almost every major Afghan story, including the rise and fall of the Taliban and the 2004 and 2009 presidential and parliamentary elections. He was Editor of the Kabul Bureau of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Afghan Service until September 2009. He has been presenting Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Media Action's multimedia debate programme, Open Jirga, since November 2013.
