Good Omens is a six-part Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ adapation of the novel of the same name.

The world is due to end in a week, and Judgement Day is almost upon us. An angel and a demon, who have lived on earth since The Beginning, have grown rather fond of the lifestyle and would rather the world not end just yet.

Who wrote the Good Omens book?

Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

Neil Gaiman. Good Omens was Neil's first book, but since then has gone on to write a number of bestselling novels. His first book was the novelisation of his teleplay Neverwhere. He has also written Stardust, American Gods and Norse Mythology was released in 2017. Gaiman also wrote a Chistmas Special, Chivalry, for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4.

Terry Pratchett. Terry is the author of more than 40 Discworld novels including The Colour Of Magic, Mort and Going Postal, which was adapted into a television film. Pratchett sadly died at his home on the morning of 12 March 2015 from Alzheimer's.

But the Angel and Demon protagonists are played by...

David Tennant. His first major Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ role was as Campbell in Takin' Over The Asylum back in 1994. Daivd is best known as the tenth Doctor in Doctor Who and as DI Alec Hardy in Broadchurch. Tennant is playing the demon Crowley.

Michael Sheen. His first role, back in 1993 was as Joe in Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ mini-series Mystery! Gallowglass. Michael is now more well known for his roles in Masters Of Sex and Slaughterhouse Rulez. Sheen is playing the angel Aziraphale.

When is Good Omens on TV?

Good Omens will be on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two at 9pm on Wednesday 15 January.
