In previous blogs I’ve confessed to being . Now I must admit to something much, much worse. I’m also a bore. When my husband and I go out to meet friends I know he works hard to ensure the conversation doesn’t touch on anything Â鶹ԼÅÄ-related, just in case I get on my ‘soap box’.

"You see, I think the Â鶹ԼÅÄ is rather wonderful," is normally how my opening gambit sounds in such situations, "and not just because I work there, but because there is no other organisation that does what the Â鶹ԼÅÄ does, anywhere in the world." Imagine hearing that at dinner parties. ÌýBeing seeing as part of my job as a producer on this blog is to unearth some of the fantastic work that goes on here and shout about it, I think I should know.

My latest technique is to rattle off all the different services I use from the Â鶹ԼÅÄ in a day. I thought I'd do the same thing here.

So here it is – a list of the amount of times that I used the Â鶹ԼÅÄ on Monday this week (excluding for work purposes of course – that would be cheating):

- 6.45am: Get woken by toddler – give her my phone to pop Mr Maker’s bubbles on the , earning me an extra 15 minutes dozing.

- 7.30am: Check while trying decide what mini me and I should wear for the day.

- 8.00am: Listen to the while eating porridge and simultaneously sweeping stray rice crispies from my daughter’s lap, and the table, and the floor.

- 8.30am: Consult Â鶹ԼÅÄ Twitter travel updates ()Ìýto make sure my trains are running okay.Ìý

- 9.00am – 2.00pm: I’m working hard so obviously no time for any .

- 2.15-3.00pm: Listen to the y on Radio 4 while gobbling up a late lunch sandwich (it was good – the play I mean, the sarnie didn’t have enough mayo).

- 5.00pm: Head home – check Â鶹ԼÅÄ Travel Alert on Twitter again for any tube problems.

- 6.15pm: Get home and wind down with my daughter and Iggle Piggle, .

- 7.30pm: Cook dinner, consulting the - thanks .

- 9.00pm: Settle down and watch on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Four, after which I went to bed at 10.35pm tired but a bit twitchy because it was excellent but very creepy…

So there you have it – my Â鶹ԼÅÄ day, and . I told you it was good value. Maybe rather than wax lyrical at dinner parties in future I’ll just direct friends to this blog, that way I might get invited again.
