Africa with Ade Adepitan is a new four-part series for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two, where journalist and athlete Ade Adepitan travels across Africa.

Ade travels from West Africa and city of his birth - Lagos in Nigeria - through Central and Eastern Africa and on to the deep south of the continent. He's on a journey to uncover how modern Africa is changing. He visits a vast array of contrasting places on the continent, each providing unique and surprising experiences, from the beauty of Cape Verde to the streets of Mogadishu.

Who is Ade Adepitan?

Ade started in wheelchair basketball, winning bronze in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens and the gold medal at the 2005 Paralympic World Cup in Manchester.

Adepitan was one of the main presenters of the children's programme Xchange produced for CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and has appeared in shows including EastEnders, Desperados and has co-presented the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Children in Need appeal since 2016.
