Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Four has announced a season of new programmes that celebrate British diversity and explores the secret tribes and communities that have helped shape modern British history.

New era for England: Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ announces major changes to services across the country

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ will “reinvent and refresh” its offer in England - including Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ local radio and regional TV news - to ensure it is providing the best possible services to all audiences across the country.

Radio

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Asian Network has revealed the line-up for Asian Network Live 2019, the station’s flagship live music event. This year’s event will take place on Saturday 2 March at Arena Birmingham.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Northern Ireland will broadcast the final of the Country Antrim Shield live online and on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Ulster on Tuesday 5 February.

Giovanna Fletcher and Nigel Clarke are set to present The Baby Club, a new series for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ pre-school channel CBeebies, aiming to help families engage with and share precious time with their babies and toddlers.3

Wales

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and National Theatre Wales begin search for first ever Wales Writer in Residence. The new award is a partnership between Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Cymru Wales and National Theatre Wales, along with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writersroom Wales, with the intention of supporting new writing talent.

Gavin and Stacey stars Larry Lamb and Melanie Walters return to Wales for new family drama, Pitching In, on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Wales and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Daytime.

Northern Ireland

The Search, a new series for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One Northern Ireland explores the impact on families when a loved one goes missing, and meets the Community Rescue Service volunteers who drop everything to find them.

Corporate

Anne Bulford, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s Deputy Director-General, has decided to leave the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in the spring of 2019  to pursue a portfolio of non-executive roles.
