Speaking on Thursday at the Edinburgh TV Festival, talked about Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One and detailed some new commissions for the network, in addition, , announced a range of ambitious new titles for the network across factual, arts, comedy and drama.

This week - two exciting new Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One dramas set for Scotland. In addition, on Friday it was announced that Ben Whishaw will play Jeremy Thorpe MP's lover Norman Scott in Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One's opposite Hugh Grant.
Comedy
On Thursday, Shane Allen, Controller, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Comedy confirmed that will be back on both Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two. IN a good week for comedy fans Friday brought an announcement of the return of to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three in 2019 and the Press Office revealed on Twitter that will also be returning to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ.
Entertainment
This week's celebrity contestant announcements for the forthcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing include: Holby City's ; Paralympian ; former X-Factor winner ; TV personality, presenter and the widow of magician Paul Daniels, ; and newsreader, journalist and Good Morning Britain anchor .
In addition, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One announced a new family game show .

On Monday, Patrick Holland, Controller, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two, announced a new three-part observational documentary series with access to the British Army during one of the most testing moments in its history.
On Friday, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Four announced Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Yorkshire documentary which will give unprecedented insight into Philip Larkin’s love of photography.

On Saturday Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Creative, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s in-house creative team, will be launching a new campaign for CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ called , which will showcase CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's content and demonstrate that it has something for every child - no matter what they’re into.

On Monday, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Music announced - a world-exclusive hour-long entertainment show hosted by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw - to be broadcast on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One this autumn.
