Wark, Wilson & Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ honoured at Scottish BAFTAs

The British Academy Scotland Awards 2013 were held last night (Sunday 17 November) at a ceremony in Glasgow.

s own Kirsty Wark (pictured) took home the Outstanding Contribution to Broadcasting Award, while actor and director Richard Wilson, (recognisable as his alter ego Victor Meldrew from Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ comedy One Foot in the Grave) was awarded for his Outstanding Contribution to Television and Film.

In addition, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ productions were recognised in almost half – 7 out of the 15 categories as detailed below:

  • Comic Relief does Glee Club Live Final (Children’s programme: Chris Hulme, Yvonne Jennings, Julie Kelling - Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland for CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ)
  • Limmy’s Show (Comedy/Entertainment programme:Μύ Rab Christie, Brian Limond, Jacqueline Sinclair - Comedy Unit for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland)
  • Sins of our Fathers (Current Affairs: Mark Daly, Peter Macrae, Murdoch Rodgers - Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland)
  • Operation Iceberg (Factual Series: Matt Barrett, Louise Ferguson, Mark Hedgecoe, Andrew Thompson - Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two)
  • Fire in the Night (Single Documentary: Michael McAvoy, Alan Clements, Anthony Wonke - STV Productions and Berriff McGinty Films for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland)
  • Murder (TV Drama - Robert Jones, Birger Larsen, Kath Mattock, Rob Pursey, Matthew Read - Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland and Touchpaper TV for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One)
