What are magdalenas?
In English, ‘magdalena’ translates as ‘cupcake’. These little cupcakes are often flavoured with lemon and have a sugary crust.
In Spain, magdalenas are often eaten at breakfast (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.) or with a cup of coffee (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.) as a snack (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.).

Add the baking powder and sift (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.) the flour into the mixture, giving everything one final mix.
Pour (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.) the mixture into paper cases until they are half (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.) full.
Sprinkle some sugar on top and get an adult to place the tray in the oven for fifteen (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.) to twenty (Sorry, something went wrongCheck your connection, refresh the page and try again.) minutes.
