The Great Wall and how to get there by bus

Description

In an attempt to improve its traffic infrastructure, Beijing has been widening new roads and building flyovers. But it still has a problem dealing with the chaotic mix of buses, taxis, cars and bicycles, not to mention pedestrians. Traffic jams are a daily phenomenon. Luckily, you can get away from it all, because just to the north of the capital lies one stretch of the Great Wall, one of the country’s most popular tourist sites. The Great Wall snakes its way 6000 km along the north of China. Built over 2000 years ago, it is a staggering feat of engineering and construction. Find out how you can get there by bus.
