National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) happens every year in early February, with this year's event taking place 5-11 February 2024.

NAW is a chance to learn more about apprenticeships and figure out if they could be the right next step for you.

Join Bitesize Careers throughout the week to hear from current apprentices, get answers to frequently asked questions, and suss out the pros and cons of apprenticeship life.

We’ve launched a new series of content to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week:

• Videos – hear from apprentices working at well-known UK attractions Madame Tussauds London, The London Eye, and Chessington World of Adventures, and bust apprenticeship myths with former apprentice, Chanise Evans
• Video podcast – join Radio 1 presenter Katie Thistleton on The Bitesize Careers Podcast to hear from big name guests, inspiring apprentices and top careers experts who'll help you figure out your ideal path
• Quizzes – figure out the best potential future pathway for you with our Apprenticeship, university or work quiz
• Articles – get answers to key apprenticeships questions with our apprenticeships FAQ article. From "What is an apprenticeship?" to "How much do apprentices get paid?", we've got you covered with answers tailored to each of the four UK nations (England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland).

We’ve got themed days from Monday-Friday during NAW. We'd love for you to join us each morning throughout the week, but if that's not possible the content can be explored at a day or time that suits you better. The themes include the content mentioned above, and more. Here's what's happening each day:

• Myth Busting Monday – debunking common apprenticeship myths
• Transferable Skills Tuesday – linking subject skills from school to the world of work
• Working World Wednesday – hearing real-life stories of apprentices on the job
• Throwback Thursday – learning about inspirational apprenticeship journeys
• Your Future Friday – exploring if an apprenticeship could be a good fit for you.
