1. Dataset & User Guide
The main goal for the project was to capture information on barriers present within VR. In order to capture as many barriers as possible, we worked with over 100 users across 15 sessions.
During each session we captured notes on the barriers we observed. Take a look at our methdology for more information on our approach.
We performed a thematic analyses of the barrier observations to produce a dataset which captures each of the barriers we have observed. We have grouped the barriers by impairment. The barriers browser provides a handy tool for viewing all of the barriers in one place along with the canonical barrier descriptions.
The dataset is available as a CSV download below. It has has the following actions performed:
- Duplicated items have been removed.
- Identifying data has been removed.
- Data has been tagged with primary impairment, impact and other metadata.
- To support the dataset we have also produced a dataset user guide. This guide explains the terms used within the barriers dataset.
2. Test Enviroment Screenshots & Assets
This download contains a number of high resolution screenshots of the test environment.
