Lisa is in charge of Wales’ only professional symphony orchestra in its dual role as broadcasting and national orchestra.
Formerly the head of Participate at Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Lisa is recognised across the music sector as both a champion for the arts and a real innovator in inclusion and music education.
A trained saxophonist and vocalist, she was the founding Chief Executive and Artistic Director of South West Music School – a training centre for exceptionally gifted young musicians. She has also held positions such as an assessor for Arts Council England and the PRS Foundation, a board member of the British Arts Festival Association and vice president of the European Conference of Promoters of New Music.
She works closely with the orchestra’s Principal Conductor, Ryan Bancroft.
