D-Day anniversary: your weather pictures

  • Published

On the 80th anniversary of D-Day, our Weather Watchers have been remembering and taking photographs of the weather.

Weather conditions in 1944 were windier with choppy seas in the English Channel making the crossing unpleasant for soldiers.

There has been much calmer weather for the commemorations this year.
